The former Church of Ireland, St Patrick's of Parteen Parish
The former tennis court is a flat area outside the house and beside the garden that offers a useful site that can fit a marquee that seats 200 people with catering tents and toilets.
The garden runs from the house down to the river Shannon. It looks out onto St Thomas's Island, site of a former monastery destroyed in the 16th Century and across the river down to the ancient salmon weir, a pre-Viking feature which was developed in the 17th century and "" or the Castle of the Weir which guarded one of the entrances to Limerick City.
This garden makes a wonderful location for a pre-dinner drinks reception.
The church ands surrounding walled terrace makes an outstanding venue for seating up to 100 people, with space for a dancefloor. It can be extended across the walled terrace and out, across the river meadow and towards the river.
